I was very impressed with whole experience from the front desk to my teeth cleaning, Cheryl the hygienist was awesome!! Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants great dental care, also very up to date with all there equipment

Updated again. Resolved, but owner needs to fix website and drop the AI- it's more annoying than helpful I wrote a glowing review when I first became a patient. Unfortunately, I feel the need to update it until a few problems are resolved. First and foremost is the inability to make an appointment. This begins with "Emily", their AI "agent". I request a human, and I get some guy who evidently doesn't work there, and I have to explain my problem to him several times. I finally give up, and he takes a message that I need to make an appointment and says it will be referred to the scheduler. Nobody ever returns my call. Problem #2... I finally reach someone at the front desk to make an appointment, and she doesn't understand either. I was previously referred by Dr. Khehra to an endodontist for evaluation and root canals, which were done. Now I need the final restoration, which the general dentist needs to do. The receptionist says she can schedule me for an evaluation. I don't need another evaluation, and I don't want to pay for another evaluation. She says the doctor needs the report from the endodontist. So I call the endodontist's office, and they assure me they will send a report. Nobody calls me after they receive the report, so I try calling again for an appointment. Nobody answers the phone, even though it says the office is open, and I get annoying "Emily". However, the recording states I can make an appointment online through their Smile Generation website. Great! ... (I think.) Nope. I attempt that several times, and this is the website message I receive- "An error has occurred and has been logged by our system. Thank you." I'm now 10 days past my root canals, which have temporary fillings and, according to my research, a final restoration should be done ASAP to prevent possible reinfection and a host of other complications. I guess my next step is driving to the office to make an appointment in person. (Just what I want to do with $6 gallon gas. 🙄) I'm leaving this review in the absurd hope that someone might read this, look up my chart, and review with their incompetent staff members. With any luck, maybe someone will actually call ME, so I can make an appointment. Please call me, and I will edit this review again. Davina Solomon (First review)... I have terrible Insurance because I have a Medicare Advantage plan, and the reimbursement rates are awful. Finding a good dentist with competent staff who are willing to accept the lower reimbursement rates is not easy. The first clinic I chose was subpar, to say the least, so I switched to Modesto Modern Dentistry. My initial phone contact with Mike, in the front office, was pleasant and efficient, and my appointment was scheduled within 2 weeks. On arrival, I noticed the front lobby is clean and spacious. Everyone I encountered was very nice and courteous. Prior to using my Medicare plan, I was paying out of pocket to see a very expensive dentist that I had seen for at least a decade prior to retirement. Two years ago I had a tooth extraction and a bridge, which were very expensive when paying out of pocket. It resulted in a nightmare, with a tooth infection, sinus infection, and pain with this bridge for the last 2 years. I was made me feel like a complainer and told there was nothing wrong with this bridge. After a while, one quits complaining because of being viewed as a whiner or crazy (or both). That's when I decided it was time to explore my Medicare benefits. I figured it couldn't get any worse, and I'd spent thousands out of pocket. Modesto Modern Dentistry has state-of-the-art equipment. A panoramic X-ray revealed a lesion, and probable infection, right in the area under the bridge that I have been complaining about and living with for the last 2 years. While I'm exasperated with having to pay again for treatment that's been botched, I'm thankful that Dr. Khehra was so thorough, found the problem, and referred me to an endodontist. I can't say enough nice things about this practice, and I would highly recommend it.
